Who books this
Anyone whose skin has gone flat. If your makeup has started to cling or sit badly, if tone looks uneven, or if fine lines have become more obvious, this is the treatment that resets the surface.
Not suitable if
- You are pregnant.
- You have a pacemaker, metal implants or plates.
- You have epilepsy.
- You have any medical condition affecting your skin.
- You are taking Roaccutane, or have finished a course in the last six months.
- You have had injectables or significant sun exposure in the last two weeks.

Before your appointment
- You will complete a short skin consultation and consent form before your first machine facial. It arrives with your booking confirmation and takes a couple of minutes.
- Stop retinol and other strong actives 5 days before.
- Avoid sunbeds and significant sun exposure for two weeks beforehand.
- Come with a clean face where you can.
After your appointment
- Wear a high SPF daily and reapply. This matters more after microdermabrasion than after any other treatment on the menu.
- Stay out of direct sun for a week.
- No retinol, acids or scrubs for 5 days.
- Skip the gym, sauna and swimming pool for 24 hours.
- Keep the routine gentle: cleanse, moisturise, SPF.

What does microdermabrasion actually do?
It resurfaces the skin mechanically, lifting away the layer of dead cells and build up that makes a complexion look flat. With that gone, the serum and mask that follow absorb far better. Most people notice smoother texture and better makeup wear straight away.
Does it hurt?
No. Most clients describe it as a firm, slightly scratchy sensation that is entirely bearable. Tell me at any point if you want the intensity dropped.
Why do I need a consultation form?
Because this treatment uses a machine, and a handful of medical conditions and medications make it unsafe. The form covers medical history, medications, pregnancy, implants and recent procedures. It takes a couple of minutes and I only need it before your first visit.
Will my skin react afterwards?
Pinkness for a few hours is normal and expected. Some clients get slight flaking on day two or three. If anything worries you, message me within 48 hours and I will support you through it.
