Accessibility Statement

Last updated:

MMM Beauty is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or assistive technology.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where practicable. We have not yet commissioned a formal third-party audit; this statement reflects our current best efforts and known limitations.

Built-in accessibility features

  • Skip to main content – a keyboard-accessible skip link at the top of every page lets you bypass navigation and jump directly to the page content.
  • Semantic HTML and ARIA labels – pages use appropriate heading hierarchy, landmark roles, and ARIA attributes to support screen readers.
  • Language attribute – the page language is declared as English (lang="en") so screen readers use the correct voice.
  • Keyboard navigation – all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, modals) are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
  • Sufficient colour contrast – text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios in both light and dark modes.
  • Respects reduced-motion preference – animations and transitions are suppressed when your operating system is set to reduce motion.
  • Focus indicators – visible focus rings are preserved on all interactive elements so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.

Experience tuner

Our site includes an optional Experience Tuner that lets you personalise how the site looks and behaves, without needing browser extensions or system settings. You can activate it from the site menu. Available settings include:

  • Dyslexia-friendly font – switches body text to Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed to improve readability for people with dyslexia.
  • High contrast mode – increases contrast between text and backgrounds beyond the default theme.
  • Reduce motion – disables scroll animations, parallax effects, and transitions across the site.
  • Focus mode – reduces decorative visual noise so you can concentrate on page content.

Your preferences are saved locally in your browser and apply on every visit.

Known limitations

  • Some third-party booking and payment flows (provided by Square) are outside our direct control and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We encourage Square to improve accessibility in their embedded interfaces.
  • PDF aftercare guides are generated for print and may not be fully accessible to screen readers. If you need the content in an alternative format, please contact us.
  • Some images may rely on context rather than standalone alt text. We are working to improve image descriptions across the site.
