Elim Pedicure

An alkaline peel breaks callus down at the source, then an AHA exfoliant and a foot balm made with facial grade actives go to work. Nails are shaped, cuticles tidied, and your chosen gel colour finishes it. Because the peel works below the surface, hard skin is slower to come back.

Treatment

What is included in the Elim Pedicure?

This is a medical grade foot treatment. An alkaline peel is applied to break down callus and dead skin chemically, so hard skin lifts away without a blade or a file touching your feet. An AHA exfoliant follows, then a nourishing balm built from facial grade active ingredients. Nails are shaped, cuticles are tidied, and the treatment finishes with a gel polish colour of your choice, cured under a UV/LED lamp to hold for four to six weeks. If you already have gel on your toes, book the removal and new set option instead.

Section 2

Your appointment, step by step

  • Assessment: we look at the condition of your feet and toenails, and talk through shape and colour.
  • Alkaline peel: applied to callused areas to break down hard skin at the source, so it lifts away chemically.
  • AHA exfoliant: lifts the softened skin away and smooths the surface.
  • Foot balm: a nourishing balm made with facial grade actives is worked in.
  • Nail shaping: toenails are filed to a neat, comfortable shape with sharp edges smoothed.
  • Cuticle care: cuticles are gently pushed back and any overgrowth removed.
  • Gel colour: your chosen colour is applied in thin cured layers, then sealed with a top coat and finished with cuticle oil.

Aftercare

Before your appointment

  • Arrive with clean feet. Removing nail varnish at home saves time in the chair.
  • Tell us about any foot or nail concerns, and about Roaccutane, so we can plan the appointment.

After your appointment

  • Apply cuticle oil to toenails daily to extend the life of your gel finish.
  • Keep feet out of prolonged water for the first 24 hours.
  • Wear open-toed footwear home so nothing smudges while the finish settles.
  • Never pick or peel the gel. Book a removal and new set instead.

Aftercare

Looking after your appointment

Keep your builder gel manicure looking flawless for as long as possible by following these simple steps.

  • Keep your nails completely dry for the first 24 hours after application.
  • Apply cuticle oil daily to maintain flexibility and hydration.
  • Wear gloves when doing household chores or using harsh chemicals.
  • Do not pick, bite, or peel the product, always book a professional removal.
  • Book infills every 3–4 weeks to maintain strength and appearance.
  • If you notice lifting or damage, contact the studio promptly.

FAQ

Common questions

How is this different from a standard pedicure?

A standard pedicure files or blades hard skin off the surface. The Elim Pedicure uses an alkaline peel to break callus down chemically at the source, followed by an AHA exfoliant. Because the work happens below the surface, results last longer and hard skin is slower to return.

Is it safe if I have diabetes?

Yes. The treatment is suitable for diabetic clients, which is one of the reasons it uses a peel in place of a blade. Let us know when you book so we can take extra care.

Can I book this while pregnant?

Yes, after the first trimester. Get in touch before booking if you have any questions about timing.

How long does the gel colour last on toenails?

Toenails typically hold gel for 4–6 weeks, since they grow more slowly and take less punishment than fingernails. Daily cuticle oil makes a real difference.
