What are HD Brows?

HD Brows is a premium brow treatment that combines every element of expert brow design into a single appointment. Colour is custom-blended specifically for your hair tone and skin undertones, the shape is mapped and measured to your facial proportions, and hair is removed using a combination of waxing, threading and tweezing for a finish that's clean, defined and precise. It's the brow treatment that does everything - leaving you with structured, natural-looking brows that flatter your features from every angle.

Your appointment, step by step

  • In-depth consultation – we discuss your brow goals, lifestyle and the style you're going for, from bold and dramatic to soft and barely-there natural. Your patch test result is confirmed.
  • Custom colour blending – tint is selected and blended specifically for your skin tone and hair colour. No standard shades, no guesswork.
  • Brow mapping – using professional measurement techniques, the ideal brow shape is mapped across your face using your bone structure as a guide.
  • Tint application – the custom-blended colour is applied and processed to fill, define and deepen the brow hair.
  • Precision hair removal – waxing removes broader areas of unwanted hair while threading adds fine detail, with tweezers completing the outline.
  • Trim & style – brow hairs are trimmed to the perfect length, then filled, styled and set so you can see the full finished look before you leave.

Not suitable if you...

  • Have a known reaction to brow tint or lamination products (a patch test is required 48 hours before).
  • Have active skin conditions around the brow area such as eczema, dermatitis or open sores.
  • Have had permanent or semi-permanent brow makeup applied recently - check with your practitioner first.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding and have been advised to avoid tint.

Results & longevity

Expect well-structured, defined brows that look balanced and intentional. The colour is custom enough that it never looks fake, and the shaping feels like the best version of your natural brows. Results typically look their best for 4–5 weeks before colour begins to fade and the shape grows out slightly. Most clients book every 4–6 weeks to keep the look consistently polished.

Prep & aftercare

Before your appointment

  • Arrive without brow makeup so natural hair growth and existing shape can be assessed accurately.
  • Avoid self-tan on the forehead and brow area before your appointment - it affects how tint takes.
  • Don't pluck, wax or thread brows for at least one week beforehand.
  • Complete your patch test at least 48 hours before the appointment.

After your appointment

  • Avoid getting the brow area wet for 24 hours, including steam and sweat.
  • Skip saunas, steam rooms and intense exercise for 24 hours.
  • Use a gentle, non-exfoliating cleanser around the brow area for 2–3 days.
  • Avoid applying retinoids, acids or exfoliants to the brow area for 72 hours.
  • Keep brows brushed and apply a nourishing brow oil to maintain the shape between appointments.

Aftercare

Looking after your appointment

Proper aftercare ensures your brow treatment heals beautifully and lasts as long as possible. Follow these guidelines for HD Brows, brow lamination, tinting, waxing, and threading.

  • Avoid touching, rubbing, or scratching the treated area for 24 hours after your appointment.
  • Keep the brow area completely dry for the first 24 hours, no washing, sweating, or steam.
  • Avoid all makeup, skincare products, and cosmetics on or around the brows for 24 hours.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours.
  • Do not use exfoliants, retinoids, or harsh skincare products near the brow area for one week.
  • For brow lamination: Avoid getting brows wet for 24 hours and sleep on your back if possible.
  • For brow tinting: Avoid oil-based products and excessive cleansing for 48 hours to extend colour longevity.
  • If you notice excessive redness, swelling, irritation, or signs of infection, contact the studio immediately.
